A Trio Whose Time Has Come: Team Texas

With Chikara Pro's King of Trios upcoming, we've already seen a whole bunch of trios announced. Traditional Chikara trios like The Batiri, The Spectral Envoy, FIST, and the Throwbacks. Add to this the outside trios of The Extreme Trio (2 Cold Scorpio, Jerry Lynn, and Tommy Dreamer), Team JWP (Commando Bolshoi, Tsubasa Kuragaki, and Kaori Yoneyama), and Team ROH (The Young Bucks and Mike Bennett) and it seems like the King of Trios tournament is on the verge of being absolutely awesome. But there is a trio that hasn't been announced yet. Frankly, I am not sure it ever will be. Which is a shame. Because if they put this trio together, Millions of Buys. The trio I'm talking about? Team Texas.

My first member of Team Texas is maybe the most innovative aerial wrestler in the world, and the United States is all his. He's the sort of guy who deserves to be seen by as many people as is humanly possible. Ladies and gentlemen, the first member of Team Texas and the current Anarchy Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Champion ACH.

But who should his partners be? I figure that the best way to showcase the promotion that he represents as proudly as he does is to partner him up with the company's ace. Who is that you ask? Well that's one of the really awesome things about Anarchy Championship Wrestling. There is no gender separation of the kind you see in WWE, TNA, or ROH. Women wrestle men. Women have held what are stereotypically thought to be "male" titles. And so, in fitting with this, their ace is an adorable, almost impossibly sweet, Texan who just so happens to be willing and able to throw down in a barbed wire streetfight and once choked out someone until she was covered in that person's blood. Yes you'll notice I said she. The 2nd member of Team Texas is perhaps the coolest. The Ace of ACW, the Big Bad Booty Momma, Rachel Summerlyn.

But that only makes 2, and frankly we need a trio. And as you will notice, I didn't make this team ACW. I made it Team Texas. Because we need a third member, I went back into the archives to find one. There is only one right answer. He's from Austin, strangely enough although he doesn't work for ACW (yet.) But he's awesome. He was a former tag team champion, US Champion, TV Champion, and Intercontinental Champion. Ladies and gentlemen, the 3rd member of Team Texas, "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes. (And if this leads to Rhodes and Windham reuniting, winning three points, and facing off against the Young Bucks, that's good with me.)
